Not the 1 oz golden eagle but----

Postby golden optimist » Tue Oct 24, 2017 5:53 pm

Here's a Bald Eagle that posed for me the other day. He sat there and watched me watch him for about 20 minutes. He was still sitting there when we left. At first I thought he was a fake eagle but then he moved.

Amazing animals with the patience of jobe and eyesight beyond imagination. We have many here in Redding that nest every year along with a eagle cam on 1 nest to watch families being raised. John

We have many here in the Midwest, nesting along the Mississippi River and fishing below the dams in the winter. Our Peregrine Falcon population is growing slowly too.

Happy Birding folks.

And by the way Leonard your getting some great shots of the Eagles.
