Trevs USA and Alaska Trip

Postby Trev(NZ) » Sat May 01, 2010 3:32 am

Hi Sir Leonard

Emperor of Nome and the Oroville Fine Brewery. Salutations to you Sir, and your fine Knave Sir Russ.

With your permission Sir Leonard, allow me to take you on a journey. From the Antipodes of far off New Zealand to the remote wilderness of Alaska. Some pics of days gone bye. Treasured memories of a great continent that stretches, so far. What fine people I met, what great friendships I formed. Guess you guys thought I had died and gone to heaven. Well guess again. I am alive and well. So lets take you's on my journey.

OK, Auckland New Zealand to LA, then onwards to Seatac. Well I was pretty buggered to say the least. 15 long hours. On my bum. This is gonna be an epic adventure, as I really have to start off at the start. Which of course starts at little ole Westport in NZ.

But just to prove I got to the US, here is a pic of moi on the Washington State Ferry on day One of the great Alaskan Adventure.

Lots more to come.

Hey Trev, you were in my neck of the woods!
I'm only a few miles of Seatac - and I see you were welcomed to Seattle with our signature Steel Grey Skies (Clouds)!!!
Have a blast...
and here's blast from the past, I took this photo in August 2006.

You framed the picture perfectly. No one was forced to endure the sight of my knobby knees! You can't even tell I was wearing shorts.

Trev,

If you or Moi return to Alaska - shame on you if you don't visit if you're in the Anchorage region. We supply transport, sight seeing, places to shovel and a fair ration of "refreshment" -

I will be back to AK Uncle Joe, but more on that later. And yep I will partake of your most generous offer.

I am jumping the epic adventure here a little bit. Heck I haven't taken off from NZ yet. And told you all, how it came about. But ya can skip the book a bit I guess.

Borrowville: Washington. My first outing amongst a group of fellow US of A gold miners. Or was it Oroville. Anyway had just arrived after a long drive from the Olympic Peninsula, Sequim. Home of my host.

Put up our tent and the first thing I see just across from us is a beggars stand. Damn I thought, there goes my idea all Americans are rich. That guy is nothing but a shark. Look at the size of his mobile home and then he puts a begging shrine out in front of it. I have heard of Loan Sharks but this is a taking shark. And look at that shady character in the right of the picture. What have I come to. I want to go home.

If there is organized crime in Oroville, is he the Don, he may be short, but he sure scares me. See he is looking at me take the pic. Lets take another, if I am to have concrete feet, I need a trail.

Image

Damn he is really eyeballing me now. Look at his flash vehicle. Look at his plate, UME, visions flash before my eyes. Its really UMEYW. "You Money Empty Yor Wallet"

Its tent time for me. I wanna go home. Later when I got home to NZ I contacted my contact in the FBI, turns out it was Bad Boy Little Russ, aka Russau, wanted throughout Misinsippi for many devious occurrences. Man that was close. Apparently hangs out with the " Dredge Shark " now that sounds even more worse than Bad Boy Little Russ.
