Sure has been quiet

Postby russau » Sun Jul 22, 2018 6:20 pm

Well how is everyone doing so far?/ its been real quiet here and I assume everyone is out doing their thing! I have been working (it seems) non-stop on our home trying to get it up 2 snuff to sell. its been a few years now that I had my knees replaced , and I was surprised that everything slipped into some disrepair. BUT we are getting it slowly and I'm really seeing the importance of letting someone else do the work and I'll just pay them to do it! Its just not in my bones anymore!

I wish I could find someone close to me that would do some work for me. I'm only good for a couple of hours every few days. I'd like a teenager that could do come of the harder work. I'm willing to pay $15 an hour and work along with them or at least hang around and supervise and promise not to overwork them but we don't have any teenagers locally here.

It's been in the mid 90's everyday and miserable work weather. I can't imagine being a roofer and having to work in this weather.

I'm here everyday, but my wife tells me to shut up.

YEP it's been hot here in the mid-west also , I think Dick can attest to that ! Lots of teenagers here BUT they don't want to work! Right now I'm looking for a contractor to finish up "this ole house" for me ! If I do much more , it'll be time to plant this ole bird!
