To fence or not to fence?

Postby russau » Sun Jan 06, 2019 7:25 am

I like the potential of fencing off our boarder's BUT if that is done do you think the illegal's would acquire a large boaring machine to regain "their access" to America? I think they are probly doing this right now! I know they are tunneling everywhere BUT could you imagine a tunnel that they could drive a large semi through! Why not! They could afford it!

Mean while , Government employees and American citizen's pay the price as pawn's for our so-called "representatives" to play "their game" and America suffers as a result! When will these so-called "representative's of ours (??????) get the message and do their job the were elected for and QUIT holding America and Her people hostage?????????

 lets learn from the ancient chinese-how'd that wall work for keeping out the monguls. Fortresss for the english,Marginoe line in the war in europe???? since the dawn of time barriers have proven most ineffective. Saw on tv the new drones that can deliver a 200 lb payload in seconds over any wall as as a 186 pound man was up and away in seconds. Kill the freebies/subsidies/to non americans first then......John

It's simple! 12 foot high chain link fence on the border with signage in English and spanish . 100 yards inside the first fence, another 12 foot high one. Automated gun towers. Anything moves in no mans land alarm sounds alerting a monitoring station that can activate automatic guns. If you are stupid enough to pass the first fence, the border patrol will come out and pick up the bodies. After the first few attempts to get through, there won't be many more attempts. Ground penetrating radar can monitor on the US side of the second fence for new anomalies. Sorry if you think that cruel but now all rhey are doing is playing games. Time to get serious. No catch and release.

I believe a wall is ineffective in todays technologies, as Hoser points out drones can carry good amounts of cargo, people ?
The cartels have so much cash they buy, operate and maintain tunnel boring machines, submarines, cargo ships, they will find a way
wonder how they conceal tunnel entrances ?
Damn GO, havent we seen that movie before, with the exception of maybe automated gun towers

It worked pretty well in Berlin. Only the guns weren't automated.

I find it hard to believe we can't shoot down drones. If we can shoot ICBM's a small drone ought to be easy. Tunnel detection should also be easy using GPR. A standard set of readings could be taken as the fence is completed and then driving the fence and computer comparison of GPS located standard values to new data taken would show up changes created by a new tunnel. This could be done at driving speed. Using the new automated car systems there wouldn't even have to be human driving of the fence line.

I'm not willing to just say "come on in! Welcome to the US". We have the technology. We just need the will to use it. Any money spent on new systems will be far less than the cost associated with illegals when we don't do anything.

I just wonder if our Prez does decide to build a wall / fence , If some enterprising prospector would / could get in-line to do the digging for it ??? AND put the sandy material to the side to dry wash , then use it to do the back filling of the wall / fence AND GET PAID TO DO IT!!! and deduct expense's to boot!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D possibly not much gold BUT he would be getting paid to do it!!!

Not knowing how becoming legal works, I know it takes money and time to complete the process
Would you not prepare yourself before coming to the US as best you can ?
I know that most of the people wanting in are good, upstanding people that want to better themselfs
I applaude that, dont think I could leave everything pick up and relocate to a different country not knowing the language or customs
There is a process in place to become a citizen, use it, become legal and not worry
Dont care where you came from, if your legal, no worries
US needs those people that will do the things that us fat white americans wont for little compensation
Most of our ancestors come from somewhere else

A lot more could be said, I will leave it there.
