Winter spent running ore samples thru AA that were collected last season. Got some very promising results. Enough to warrant more claims and spend some time working the area with a metal detector. Got a partner to help keep the bears fought off (literally).

Researching a new area with only minor claims nearby. My paper/satellite analysis indicates that they have missed the lode source by a few hundred yards and claimed the easy placer downstream. Will do some pick and shovel testing and post the results.

Cleaning Garage, Working on fix up projects around the house, gardening.

Do have a trip planned 2nd week to the cabin, before my daughter's law school graduation. Plan on heading to Cache Creek when there,.

I plan to do some geriatric (light duty) mining on a couple of creeks in Washington and also some down in SW Oregon. Hope you all find some gold.

Well for me and my wife , we will be doing some traveling in our Trailer. The end of April we will start out to a local state park about 100 miles away . This July I want to go see Leonard and pull his pop-up trailer to Doulas Creek for a few days that Leonard can get out. Most probly my last hurrah for mining ! The end of July I'd like to go to Tenn. to the Street Rod Nationals and we will see how I'm doing after that ! I hoe everyone has a safe and prosperous Summer !

Well it looks like everyone has already left to go out mining or got swamped on honey - do's !

swamped is right, hi pressure pipe leaked and flooded my house between flooring layers and also the vapor barrier was/is a pool-no yaa as mold and black mold may make me homeless. TURN OFF YOUR WATER WHEN YOU LEAVE HOME PLEASE. Old man looking at homeless....*&^%$#@-no good karma this year to date and nuttn' but kaka-wish I could post happy happy but none-should I just shut up and not bumb ya'll out more. John
