I was sitting in my favorite chair watching tv and all of a sudden I woke up to all this popping and cracking. At first I thought it was the water boiling in my hot water coils in the wood stove. The stove was burning kind of hot. When I couldn't locate where the noise was in the stove, I realized that it was coming from up the road. Lots of shooting and fireworks. A quick look at the clock and it had just turned midnight!! Happy New Year!!
