Well i moved them rocks, i beat out the gravel and washed it,I got 3 specks!!Anyways had a good workout it was 95 deg out, found a new spot in between where i found some nice pickers in the past, gonna wait for it to cool down a bit before i head back.

Did you crush the cemented material? Just busting it up allows gold to remain in the pieces. Here on the Klamath we use high pressure washers when dredging to break down the cemented stuff.

Yes it breaks up fairly easy when you unlock it from the ground, water only runs here for a week or two a year, its dry the other 50 weeks , so maybe thats what it breaks up easy after you pound it out! Todd

A few pictures of the spot, i pulled the big slab out of the crevice and worked the gravel underneath it. I also pulled the big rock next to the yellow bucket in the previous picture as well, Todd

years back a friend and I were out in New Mexico drywashing and it was just to hot so we worked at night with lanterns. it sure was more bearable that way !

Been there, done that with BillBrew and Grivy at Lake Havasu. Have the pictures to prove it.
