darn it. i tried to make it but ended up over sleeping. it takes 2 hours to do the drive from my house. by the time i would of got to the bank and up to Indy i would of only had a hour to look around. there show schedule really sucks. 10 to 5 they should go a bit later more would show up.

i got up at 5AM, but i do that everyday and i left home at 6AM and drove 4 hours tobe there. i talked to Chuck Lassiter,Mike Phelps and spent most of the day with Jerrry Hobbs at the PLP booth!then drove home after the closed for the day1i meet a lot of friends from around that area. we had about 10 members of our Gateway Gold prospectors show up for that Gold Show at different times during Saturday! it was a good time! i got a special gift from Chuck Lassiter that ill try to save some for Douglass Crrek but im not promising!! Tom Massie scrubbed up pretty good for the show!

sounds like it was fun. my plan was to be there as early as i could. but i did over sleep. i had a hour or two of things to do in town be for i could leave. oh well i got a bunch of things done at the house. now i am safe to travle all over the contry. working on taking a trip to luisana for work. i do not think it will happen but you never know. the trip to south dakota is going to happen this week. 10 hours on the road fix the boat and then 10 hours back. going to be a long three days.

i was thinking of, instead of driving to dredgeing areas, ship my equipment to a location close to where i want to go and fly out to save on my fuel bill and that LONG drive. then rent a van to haul my equipment in and to sleep in. but theres the headaches of trying to line everything up and its own limitations involved. yep i guess its just easier to drive yourself and just spend the bucks needed. lots more conveinent and you know itll be there when you get there.but then again i travel with a traveling hardware store with me!

Actually I've been doing it for years with my detectors and with all the ungodly new baggage fees it really makes sense now. Kauai Lawai PO is less than a block from buds house on the ridge over by Poipou and always ready and a waiting. I've packed many 1,000's a times on sales so sop for me-tons a au 2 u 2-John PS Just rent a small rv and you have your room, transportation and all gear to go for much less dough. Brother Larry and his wife(+2 cats ) rented a america rv and hit grand canyon, chains, brice, arches and on and on for relatively good price compared to hotel and rental car fees and FREEDOM rocks in any itinerary. :D
