Hey Russ,

Still a little chilly up in the Cascade Mountains, even for a quick dip. Up on the mining claim the snow on our camping site is about 5 ft deep and you barely see the creek. Guess I'll wait a little longer.

It's so nice here in Iowa, were in our swimming suits and out making snow angles to have something to do!

Thought I'd visit the Swauk Creek claim up in the Cascade Mountains today but got another twenty inches of fresh snow last night.

I have a new sluice box that has 'Dream Mat' replacing the riffles. Wanted to try it out. Has anyone out there used 'Dream Mat' in a sluice for fine gold recovery? Wanted your thoughts!
