Just got my wet suit, farmer john style, and Lycra under body suit, so I'm ready to learn the art of dredging properly. Not sure if it's a waste of space to bring my 3" Proline highbanker combo unit or not. Any thoughts or comments? I understand liquid refreshment is of great importance. Is there any particular brand I should bring, as this is my first time out?

should be plenty of room for your equipment! any types will be consumed! Leonard is kinda particular to Wild Turkey but ive never seen him turn down a taste or two of anything except for budwizer beer.

Snow's starting to melt at Keystone and Fox Park. They've had 295" of snow this winter, so the reservoir should be full again. Will make for good dredging for all you 1st of July guys as the creek should be running a tad deeper than past years.

I won't be able to be a part of the festivities. Sooo...you guys will have to tip a few extra back on my behalf. The youngest son graduates from Fort Knox as a Cavalry Scout on the 8th of July. So the Mrs. and I will be down there helping him celebrate a big moment in his life.

It sounds like this is going to be the Douglas Creek rally to top all previous rallies. Words can't express how bummed I am that I won't be there to see it take place. Would have loved to hook up with old friends and make new ones too.

But...I'm also excited to see my son finally squared away and stacked tight. He says he's lost about 25 lbs of flab and has put on 8 lbs of muscle. He's also an expert at making his bed now and has gotten used to sleeping with his M4.

Still planning on going out around the 1st of August after his two week leave is over. It's been a long couple of years recovering from the stroke and I'm itching to dredge for my hedge. If any of you have the time to come back around then, I'd love the company.
