Hey Skip!

Things are good! Been super busy working. No mining lately though. May have a chance to head to E. Wa. sometime this summer. No sure plans yet though. I'm dying to get in the river but without a dredge..... what the HELL is the point?! Ha! Panning and sluicing feels like such a downgrade that I can barely bring myself to do it. Ugh. I miss it so incredibly much.

Anne if we lived closer, you could borrow my other dredge. my 4 took a nose dive in Wyoming this year. but my new "Hoser Special" will rise from its ashs!

at yellow wood state forest here in Indiana. you need a permit to gold pan. the only thing they let you uses is a garden trawl. some there are afraid you will damage the environment. so thats all we can use. its very hilly so i would not want to take a gold dredge up and down the hills. you can park with in 100 ft the closest spot i have found. but its a drop of 100 t0 150 foot strait down to the creek. most of the guys who go there do it in the summer and fall.
