Sunday's Outting

Postby golden optimist » Mon Aug 09, 2010 12:16 pm

We had a great time. Didn't find much gold though. I had a long post with pictures all ready to post but lost it. There's a 7 minute video at

I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Leonard,

I echo YellowFever's comment about thanks for having us on your claim. It was, indeed, a good day, meet some good people, learned plenty, and did everything in my power not to do a faceplant in the creek we were working. Dan must be part mountain goat, as he got to places I only dream about.

Leonard, I had a great time Sunday. I can’t thank you enough for the use of the claim and equipment. I had a ball! It was great to see you and Corky again and meet all of the other guys. I’ll post pictures of the gold when I get it worked out at home but the real gold is the friends I made. :D

Thanks again

I agree,,, the real GOLD are the friends you make... the yellow stuff is just the icing on the cake!

We usually do far better than that but we weren't in the part of the stream where I wanted to be due to the waterflow.
