Small Crystal I'm Cutting

Postby Matt Mattson » Sun Sep 12, 2010 1:38 pm

Piece of natural quartz crystal. Sure wish I could find a sapphire that size.

You're right, John, it does make good memories when you're creating something. Connie has become especially talented in taking a rock that would be discarded and turning it into art and value.

As a kid we lived in Torrance and had our own family rock workshop out back with a gym in the other 1/2. Folks ran the Palos Verde gem & Mineral club. My store PESCO was in OC in Westminster and factory in Hunington Beach in the mid 80's. DO NOT miss the crime, traffic and ungodly noise and expenses beyond comprehension-John
