New Nome Video

You may have seen the tent fever video of Dave and I at Nome. This is "the rest of the story". We did get to do a little prospecting in spite of the weather and this shows that part of the trip. A little background on the trip, Dave flew from Colorado to Nome and I left Mark's place near Manley Hot Springs and flew to Nome from Fairbanks and met Dave at the airport in Nome..

How much crap were you able to bring, and how much did you rent. The dredge has to be local.

We didn't have a dredge. We just had a small sluice. We bought 2 buckets and a shovel locally. Everything else we brought with us. I had about 125 pounds of luggage and Dave had around 100 pounds. I bought a tent and sleeping bag at Fairbanks. The tent was a $38.00 wal-mart special. It worked very well and I left it at Mark's, 150 miles notrh of Fairbanks.
