Gun Tax???

Postby Geo-George » Mon Nov 01, 2010 6:39 pm

I just got word that the Feds have passed a $50 tax on all registerd guns.
I know there was some talk about it being proposed, earlier in the year. :(
Any of y'all heard of this recent developement? :?:
I have done so much, with so little, for so long, that I am now qualified to do anything with nothing.
Now, I just have to find the time to put the dang thing together.

What will they do if you say you no longer have it?

There's gonna be a lot of "lame ducks" that could end up doin' just about anything. :x
Hopefully, a lot of stuff can be repealed by the "Incoming".

This was going around about a year ago, and to my knowledge and all web searches as of this post it is not a fact.

I will keep checking and post if I find anything creditable concerning this.

Was what you heard saying that you had to declare any guns on your tax return?

Was what you heard saying that you had to declare any guns on your tax return? Yes!...and you would be taxed accordingly.

Thanks, y'all! ;)
I've found some pretty sharp people here, so I brought up the question after not getting any results from my own search.

I really appreciate the input :!:

If I "hear" something, I try to validate truth or fiction.
If found truth, I would take appropriate action.
If found fiction, I go on ahead but keep an ear out for any
recurrances or possibility of it becoming fact. :geek:

The jury is still out, in the case of "Big Foot".
May be, Hmmmmm? :?
