seeking a local dredger

Postby digger pat » Mon Nov 15, 2010 9:58 pm

I was wondering if there is someone living in the Nampa, Boise. Caldwell, Idaho area?
I am building a dredge and it would be very helpful if I could find someone here that would be kind
enough to allow me to come look at a dredge for building ideas and possible tips.
Specifically, the frame. How the sluice is attached to the frame. The flare's attachment to the
sluice.
I am trying to keep it simple, as I have a tendacy to over build things
and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to see the bits and pieces when not in use and out
of water.

Thanks

I'm no where near you so I can't help you by letting you look at my dredge, but as Russ mentioned there is some good info and diagrams on Keene's website, here is a link, click on "Resources" on the left side of this page and then check out all the PDF files at the bottom of the Resources page and I think it will help you some.

Thanks for the suggestion! I never thought about ordering a catalog.
As for the reference section on the Keene website...I never noticed it. lol
I'll check it out when my weekend rolls back around. We dont have the internet
on the home computer and my phone wont open PDF files:(

Thank you!

Hi Digger Pat,
You could go and see Alan Trees of gold dredge builders warehouse.
He is in near Boise Idaho, Riggins is were he is at! I have talked with him on the phone & purchased
one of his fine machines. He can sell components or entire dredge.

He has a website
