Here's a thanksgiving pan for you. I won't say where it's from but I have been there before. The silver looking things are silver nuggets.

The Gold recovery is always good on a holiday, Christmas gold is even better. Don't know why but how its always been. The reward for diehards, I guess.
Nice silver nuggs, by the way, must be Nevada or close

Brave, you are, to share it. I, myself, won't be doing that anymore, against my better judgement.

It wasn't mine and I'm not telling where so there is no problem. It's great to see the guy that got it get it though. He worked long and hard for it.

Come to think of it, the 4th of July was the best holiday for us.
Dad and I recovered over 8 oz. of nuggets sampling a new spot with a 5" dredge in just a few hours time. I think it was '92 ???

Its a great story as the miner has been on edge of bankruptcy, had partner problems, been on the hot seat with the guy holding paper, equipment problems that would cause most of thinking of quitting or worse. If anyone deserved to hit it some it was this guy.

He is a "What a guy otta do" type always inventing a better way ( hardly evers works ) He has spent the last 2 winters driftin and detecting , know of 2 occasions where they airdropped food into him guessing he was out and he was!!! One tough bird for sure

The silver is 96% pure says an Oxford assay the largest being 5.4 oz been lucky enough to buy and trade for most of it

We all should give this guy a miner's moment of silence, he is a throw back to the old days and shows what hard work and perserverance can accomplish

Well that is for sure a nice looking pan of gold and silver, KUDOS to the miner that got it, I hope there is more for him where that came from!!!!
