Update from Dawn: I arrived at 2am. Dad told me he loved me when he saw me. The nurse was here. She advised us last night that his journey will end most likely "anytime to within 24-48 hours". The nurse here now tells us he is going fast. His pain will soon be over and he can be welcomed into the arms of the Lord and our loved ones gone before him.

Since you will make it there before me, file a claim for the CCC on the golden streets. Put my name in on the association claim! At least if I'm lucky enough to join you, we'll be prepared. Remember to file it with the courthouse and the final say. the Lord. We don't want to be filed over.

Gene is and always will be an inspiration of inner strength...... Each and every time I use that great camper you practically gave to me I think of you... so glad you and I had a chance to use it on our grand Sunstone and Opal hunt! RIP

Gene did pass away around 2 am. Cathy said he just drifted off to sleep. For that we can be thankful.
