equipment advise-honcoop highbanker

hey everyone just looking for some advise. im hopefully getting ready to trade a dirtbike for a highbanker. its a honcoop hb17 with the 2in dredge attatchment. does anyone have one of these pieces of equipment or used one or even seen one and what do you think? just asking the basic questions, is it well made, does it keep the gold, is it a machine for colorado gold and is it easy to use?
any info would be great!

The only two highbanker/dredge combo units I would even consider, are made by Keene and Proline, and I'm fortunate to have both. Those out there that are crafty enough to make their own, my hats off to them. A couple years back I was speaking with a gentleman at Proline, and when I mentioned buying a Honcoop, his comment was "let's talk about highbanker's," not crap . I don't mean to offend you, or anyone else that has, or is considering on buying one. I would give it some serious thought before you trade a good dirtbike. Cory, I'm not knocking what you're asking, or what you're able to afford, I'm only giving you my two cents about the subject , and I'm sure my comments have pi##%d off a few of you.

Proline hb has the only real dredge style setup and dredging on rods is retarded and requires 2 men to get it done without so much loss. Built industrial tough and parts everywhere and no I don't sell'm or am I associated but jus' a happy miner-tons a au 2 u 2 -John

I agree about needing two men to get it done. I've attempted alone, and when I came up, I found the unit had tipped over. It's like a Timex watch though; it take a licking and keeps ticking! I too don't sell em or associated with um, just like the heck out of em. h20

that helps alot. i would LOVE to have a proline. thats my ideal highbanker but this was on craigslist and i think it sounds like a good idea. hopefully it is! thanks for the advise though i like russau's comment. the only highbanker ive ever run is my little gold buddy highbanker and it works well. i just want to move more dirt... how much different could it be

I am very interested in finding a helper like that but could care less for that honcoop equipment. Might not find any gold so to speak but a real good time.
