It has a lot of features that the old software didn't. A big item is it runs with a mysql database. Hopefully there will be no more lost posts. The forum software installed automstically as it was an Ipower feature. I spent about 3 days installing the old software as it was cgi scripts and Pearl. I had to set all of the file permissions on the Unix server and I had done none of that before. I'll be playing with this for a week or so and then we can delete the posts and start it all clear.

Attached is a typical day at work.

I'm not "The Chief". Just one of the lower level chief's. That is until 29 October. Then it off to the pasture for me.

This picture is 2 of my guys working the 200 foot level of one of our towers. My shop does all of the city tower work.

In my younger years, I spent a lot of time at 210 feet. Most of the equipment I worked on was at that level. I climbed up to the 50 foot level on a different tower a month ago and decided at 66 years of age, I will keep my feet on the ground from now on. I have 33 years on the Denver Fire Department as a communications technician and it was the worlds greatest job. For the last 20 years I have been in charge of the communications section and I have loved it. I'm an assistant chief and with that comes a lot of department prestige. I get to work with the highest levels of management and love being with the fire department. I have a lot of neat stories that are fun to share around a campfire at prospecting outings.

They test the pumps at 1200GPM and over 200psi. They would work great for a little overburden removal.
