The finished product. A .51 caret sunstone. It looks much better than the picture. It's hard to photograph gem stones.

Actually, they gave it to me. I plan on keeping it as a remembrance of the first faceting I had done. Matt and I did the stone and Connie set it. I helped a little, maybe 5% of the job. It was very interesting. I really enjoyed it!

what a super rememberance of a great time with some great friends! Leonard your beard finnaly caught up with mine! looks good for a old man! haha

Nice job on the sunstone. Gonna look real purddy hanging under that beard? :oops: Maybe a different hat? :lol:

Stay warm, we're getting 17 to 23 inches of that purddy white stuff and I don't live in the Rocky's.

GO, I bet you wish you stayed longer in FL.
