The 11th is Matt's birthday. Most of you old timers know him but newbies may not. Matt was one of the original organizers of DEF, Dredge Earth First. He was a staunch supporter both with his time and money. He runs the Treasure Hunting forum at http://treasuresites.com/ and on my forum also. He has a large series of "Finding Gold" on youtube that has a very high veiwing.

Sending Birthday Day greetings from myself, Jimmy the Mule and AU-Mike, the trio from WA State. Had some good times and recovered some good gold on the SF Umpqua River in 2002-03. Long distancwe from Florida to Oregon. Did you ever get a lead on your 4-inch Proline dredge that some &#$^$@&)?% stole from you?

Thanks guys, appreciate the BD wishes (but Mrs. Mattson probably wouldn't be thrilled if I woke up with a hangover).

LD: thanks. The dredge was actually a Keene 4" that I had modified myself to mate with the Proline flarejet.

For my birthday I had lobster, a salad, an ice cream sandwich, and a French twirl (creme horne).
