Rex,Leonard im going to have to pass on that weekend. its my wifes only full weekend off and she already has plans for me.

It's just a little bit too far for one day.

Looks like we have another forest fire up by my claim today. Haven't heard any details but sure can see the smoke.

I believe it is completely on my claim. The place they described it as starting is on the north east end of the claim. I'll have to go up there next week and hike around it. If it burned off all of the old pine needles and crap, I might see something I never noticed before.

When I get up there, I'll take some pictures and post them.

:? Forest fires in the middle of winter in Colorado say WHAT :shock: ??? Sounds like someone was clearing brush offa your claim Leonard to make it easier to work/jump???? John

I'm going up to the claim tomorrow. It's only 25 miles from the house. After getting more info, I'm not sure it got to me.

On new news, they opened a brand new Colorado whiskey distillery 6 miles from me. I also plan on checking it out soon.

Ain't retirement great?
