punch plate

Hi all, I am looking for some punch plate no wider than 12" but not less than 10", and no shorter than18", any ideas on the matter are greatly appreciated.

Hey, foundit, I have ordered it online in the past from this place and had it sent to my house they will even cut it to size.

Do you hahve a sheet metal shop/fabricator near you? If so, just pop in and tell them what you want/need. Most times they carry common sizes in stock and you don't have to buy more than you need.

Also, look under dredge or sluice on ebay. I've seen a bunch of screens being sold at various times and in various sizes.

Hey thanks a lot for all the reply's, think ill go with onlinemetals unless I find something local here in Santa Fe, I am making a 8' sluice for a highnanker that I am using a P180 and a 6.5HP motor to run, hoping to get up the hill a ways, I am attempting an over and under for the last 4' hoping to trap more fines that way, Thank again guys.

Found my punch plate for my over and under project at walmart in the BBQ section $9

i use 1/4 inch perferated stainless steel punch plate for my classification to my under sluice and i countersunk the holes as per John "Hoser" Oates recommendation. now i got to get it into the water SOON!
