Rubber flapper in footvalve, luckly only $15
or keep digging around in the barns and sheds until I surface with another as we might very well have saved one of those with a split seam in the elbow for spare parts on such an occasion as this. :?

goodthing i keep my stuff up in my trailer.nice-n-tight! but thats one more thing ill need to check befroe hand! i also watch how the foorvalve is stored for the winterhanging down or with the 'hindged side of the footvalve up to keep the flap from warping in a opened position.
