Hello,
Leonard invited me over and I just registered. Looks like a great site Leonard!
Same "swizz" from CP Forums.... I recognize many of you already here, just thought I'd let you know I'm around.

Swizz had registered on the old site and when I talked to him today, he commented "it's a little dead". I gave him the neww address and here ihe is.

I'd set it up for read only but it's been so long since I worked with the software I don't remember how and I don't want to hose it up. I have it all backed up and someday I'd like to import it into this site. I'll have to write some software to do that though.

Hi John and Leonard, thank you for the welcome. :)
Yeah, the other (older) Gold Dredger Forum is dead as nails... maybe one post per month there. You may want to put a re-direct on the front page of that one, or at least close registration.
Good site here, thanks for having me!

Good site here, thanks for having me!

Actually, if you look at the upper left corner, there is an announcement likk to:

Conferences General announcements
Reading general announcements
1. New forum up and running 01-27-10 08:23 AM
It's ready for business. Hopefully it won't lose posts. The old one has served us well. I made the first post on it 4/19/2002.
You should switch to the new forum and register.

It may be a little slow sometimes but there isn't much I can do about that. I think I can live with it anyway. If you click on posted pictures, it expands them to full size. Pictures are currently limited to 125k.

I will leave this site fully functional for a couple of weeks and then set it to archive status. You will still be able to access it and search it but not post at that time.

1/27/10

Then on the top link in the Prospecting Forum, it says the same.

Welcome Chris,

It's good to see you on this forum as well as CP. Be sure to post the pictures of your classifying equipment you got at home. I think some of the members will appreciate it :D
