North Sierra SNOW Pack

Postby CalGoldDredger » Fri Mar 25, 2011 12:19 pm

Haven't really been keeping tabs on the snow data for the North Sierra this year, wasn't pertinent, been mainly looing at Alaska's snow and data.
Wow was somewhat of a surprise when I went looking as I was wondering where we were at with the last few snow avents. I have over a foot on the ground here at the homestead and the back country over 16' of pack.
Could possibly make for some good June/July flows.

Just came up the Feather River Canyon yesterday.
Heavy snow from Beldon on up. Upper elevations had to be gettin' hammered. 8-)
Dang near a "White Out" commin' across Sierra Valley.
I have done so much, with so little, for so long, that I am now qualified to do anything with nothing.
Now, I just have to find the time to put the dang thing together.

Sweet, submerging all the CDFG offices.

Always wanted lake front property but heck then I'd have to put up all the relatives from the valley.

Head for high ground, Hoser.
