with the current fuel prices, driving long distances is going to be real costly this year, but Douglas Creek is my only priority this year! who knows? this year may be the last year for dredgeing for me,atleast thats what ive been telling my wife for the last 6 years. what i need is one of the 30 foot pontoon boats with a 6 inch dredge under it like Bill B. talked about. then i could take my wife out "boating". you think she would go for that???:)

Regular is $3.89 here right now. If it gets much over $4.00 before July, I'll have to rethink being able to go myself. My Ford V10 only gets 10 mpg running empty. When pulling the 5th wheel, I'll be lucky to get 7 going up hill all the way. At least gas will be cheaper once we cross into Wyoming; nearly .20 cents cheaper than national average based on a recent chart I saw.

John ill be there come heck or high water! the dredge is yelling for me to go now ,but i have to wait for Lee Logan to get his vacation to go! ive reduced the weight of my dredge by 30 LBS. and ive got enough pzz and vinigar to get it to the creek!! yep its going tobe costly but theres NO WAY i wont be there!!!
