Been pretty rainy. River's been running through our digging area pretty good. On of the guys went out last weekend. I've been working on garden and stuff around the yard i keep putting off. I think it the same with Andy, Matt and Karen, family and other obligations kind of take a dent out of down time.

Our 19 yr old is home from college, and then off to be a camp counselor, but home on weekends. The daughter is busiest of all of us.

It's a family vacation year, I will miss Geno's send off @ Douglas Creek. Give his wife our best. we are heading to lake George Co for a week the end of July to stay @ an in laws Cabin. Likely the 1st me and her vacation since the 1st kid was born. Be different.. Look forward to that.

Maybe we can shoot for a day on the Nemaha before or after you head to Douglas Creek? Drop Andy and I a note. No promises of riches, just a day of diggin.

Prohibition didn't stop people from drinking and making alcohol, so I doubt that a endless dredge ban will stop us hardcore Cal dredgers. Only difference between the two is in the numbers of folks interested and willing.

Proportionate wise, In this fight are we the pile of crap or the fly. At least the fly can go his own way, the pile of shet just sits there and stinks to high LL.
