I don't care to burn the pine, I'm picky, I go for the hardwoods.

John A.

getting back to the footprints, visitors??? No Good... (Darn Riff Raff)

Now a days even when I am working down in the remotest of canyons, I don't leave anything unattended for more than a few hours a week at that. Too much too lose.

Ain't it funny with these smaller operations, like ours, how we have to do all the jobs ourself - the miner, the worker, the cook, the seciurity guard, the pack mule, the foreman, ...
...and sometimes even the judge, jury and...

Well at least when you keep it small and a few do all the jobs, at gold splitting time it works out far better this way. Image

With a tree like that John A would just buck it and throw it in the fire.... not even split. Course that's if Justin is around to carry it

You got that right lots of riff raff out there in the woods and claimjumpers.
But eventually it catches up to them, sooner or later they get theirs.
You do not always get to witness it, but it does happen. And sometimes very rarely you get lucky enough to witness it.
Then you fell vindicated.

It always catches up to them in the end, but it doesn't hurt to be careful.

John
It took awhile to get the footprints figured out.
One of the private landowners took his inlaws up to show them what mining looks like. So six adults walk in they meet on off the guys running for the last day before he heads back east,he's half lit looking for a hose clamp. They offer to help and the bunch of them walk to all the dredges looking for a exstra clamp. not finding one they kype one off my blaster nozzel.  :? .
they all are gone for two days

more later

Those guys are lucky, that was a great way to get ones self shot.
