Douglas Creek Wyoming 2011

Postby russau » Fri Jun 10, 2011 7:02 pm

i emailed the FS on accessibility to Douglas Creek and any alternative driving directions if needed. im waiting on their reply! i assume that the way through Foxpark will be closed (further down)due to logging truck traffic, and probly come in through Albany. ive got the FS map so i should be able to find my way through the place sooner or latter! has anyone heard anything different?

What ever you boys end up doing have yourselves a kick arse time. Tear it up and burn it down to the ground (safely of course). :D

Talk to me people, what is going on up at DC where are we going to camp this year. Has anyone been to the FS in Larmie to talk to Tom Florich he has always been on our side.anyone trying to come in from Albany watch out on the switchback with any large rigs, I know I can't make it thru them. wally

Wally the FS has contracted a logging company to come in and clear cut the dead trees and theyre supposedly going to setup on the flats where everyone usually camps. this year Leonard suggested that we camp up the road from the spring . theres supposed tobe a area that possibly would accomadate all of us(????) Leonard is checking soon and will inform us of whats up. unless Leonard says it "aint gonna happen" ill be leaving st. louis on/about 6/27 or 6/28. i should be there respectivly on the 28/29 for sure!
