I just got back from Douglas Creek. I stopped at Laramie and talked to the rangers. They couldn't even tell me if I could get into the Flats. I went anyway and heres pictures to back up what I reccomend. The water is so fast and deep I don't think you could get across the creek anywhere. I would highly reccomend scrubing the 4th of July trip. Sure in 2 weeks the water will be down some but it still would be fast, deep, and cold making for miserable dredging.

. Funny thing by looking at pic really don't tell the story as extremely swift current too and a couple a feet more water also 
Whilst I was typing you posted that video GO and all I can say is HELL NO WAY JOSE--- but?? Did ya make it to your other claim as the stream that runs off the main stream should be RIGHTEOUS NOW and can guarantte gold there in good quantities from the testing pans. Side channel was the old road and not worked much at all but that crik is liquid trouble. - Party on gents-John
