If Rob Roy is running over the top and the melt keeps up, you may not see it slow down till mid August.

Only good thing about it is with the rush of water will come more gold and a re-distributing of the creek bottom.

That forest sure looks sad. A bolt of lightning and the forest could all go up at once. I don't think you'll see major logging till the roads stabilize. They may start cutting, but they won't be able to haul till the roads are hard enough to support the log trucks. That looks like a lot of acres to cut. Then it has to start to grow back.

Sorry it's raining on your parade! :(

bad news good news..
maybe some new gold will come into the area with a good gully washer and be closer to surface for those of use with non-powered equipment.

If Geno's service is next year, i will plan on it..

Looking like my Lake George with the Wife and daughter is going to work out. If the Arkansas is running too high I will head to Cache Creek.. Maybe head to high country for some gems.

Maybe I can get my dad out again for next summer again.

It is very disheartening to see the tree kill. God that is heartbreaking. Thanks for Pics and video Leonard..

Let me know when you'll be here. I'd be up for a few days down there.

Leonard,

We are planning for the week of July 17th to the 24th for our vacation time, I am guessing I'd come over to Buena Vista for a while Tues, Weds and Thurs of that week.

I'd run up to Cache Creek if the Ark is running too high may even if not.

I may be able to drop down for a couple of days.

It looks like the runoff at Douglas Creek is still going up!
