It's mostly fine (flour), and it's in the river, so dredging is about the only way your going to get it. Not the stuff you might find in ArIzona or California, or the nice chevrons you'll find in Nevada ;), but, it adds up :D

Cool! Our club just got two claims here in Nevada with water year round! Here comes my dredge!!!! Plus the permit is only $15.00 a year!!! The only bad part is the season is from 1 july to 30 sept.(But I'll take what we can get!!!)I'll keep you all posted with my finds!!!!(What-ever they may be!) :) :) :) :) :)

Wyomings dredge dates are the same but the permit is free. Colorado dredge permit is $25. very cheap asis!

Yep, beats the crud outta cali's "rape" prices.I'd like to try Idaho dredging at some time. Their gold is big and beautiful.

yep i was wanting togo to Idaho last year mane meet up with a guy that was leaseing a claim there but he ended up loseing his lease or got booted. i was allset togo when i found out this info! to bad for me! and i wanted to meet up with some friends in OK on the K River camp ground and in Indiana,Alabama,Wyoming all had heavy water shed from the snows or tornados,fire,floods. it just never ended last year! but i did get out for 2 weeks dredgeing with Leonard on his claim on the Arkansa River. last year was a washout for me!

I will be going back to Oregon this summer, the permit is only $25 and the gold is good, I dont know how many years we will be able to dredge in the USA they are pushing to make every state Kalifurna. I guess when I can no longer prospect I will take up robbing banks for a living because at that time everything will be outlawed.

Reno i think,in a small sense, that it has already started in different parts of our Country! and its growing!its a scary thought, but somethings gotta change!
