Western movies

Postby golden optimist » Tue Jan 22, 2013 4:28 pm

First, I've had a snort or two of Old Grandad before I posted this.

If you like western movies, there are a few of the extra ordinary ones you need to watch. One is http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006OA ... er=&sr=8-1
The other is http://www.amazon.com/Gunless-Sienna-Gu ... ds=gunless

These are completely different westerns. These are more realistic westerns. I like them so much I have bought dvd's of them.

Leonard, I love a good western, here's a link to some video clips of "Good For Nothing", it's looks like it's great movie, I have to check it out!!

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1783285/videogallery

Your second link isn't working, is this the movie, "Gunless"?

http://www.amazon.com/Gunless-Callum-Ke ... B00407RYYY

If so I had a little harder time finding a clip but here's one clip of Gunless..looks to be a good movie, a funny western it seems?

Thats the movie, Gunless. It's a very good comedy. Be sure to watch the outtakes at the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TStkUXGKX0g

Especially the one with the horse in the middle. "This is my path".

When you are watching these westerns, are you munching on popcorn? Or are able to find some of those roots?

The selections should really get way out there this fall after the Colorado growing season is over.
