I'm planning on getting there on the 30th and staying at least to the 10th. I still haven't figured out if I'll bring the dredge or not. If I don't, I'll bing a gold wheel and a bunch of concentrates. I'd probably do better with them than dredging anyway. This may be a ham radio, reading, eating, drinking beer, socializing and just plain nothing trip.

The flats are fine for this year. We didn't see a single log truck up there. The water is down and Rob Roy is full. The new bridge is in. The flats is empty and awaiting our arrival.

Leonard, Lee Logan just returned my call and hes going with me to Dc this year.we will probly leave the 28th for a long slow ride with lots of stops.we will be bringing the rolling hardware store with us,minus a few things. thanks for posting the pictures of the area. did you stop by the FS office and pickup one of their LOAs or whatever its called.if not ill stop in and fill it out when we drive through Larame.looks like floating the dredge down to your claim might be a chore this year!

Hi GO:

By the looks of the water flow, you may have a real good time dredging this year. I sure didn't expect that the flats would be un-occuppied by the logging companies. Hope you have a great CCC convention. :D

We stopped at the FS and I have the letter and rules. I'll scan them and post them in the next day or so.
