| John brought a trailer full of prospecting goodies from Illinois along with 2 friends. At the rear of the trailer you can see the wooden pallet that sat on the top of the motorized wheelbarrow. It saved a lot of mule work getting the dredges and supplies down to the river. One big problem though, if you didn't watch John and friends, they would have everything hauled down to the river. Even the things that were normally left in the truck. We all camped together and shared the food and drinks. Some of the best parts of the outting were the campfires and stories in the evenings. |
