Dave Nicholson getting ready for a little underwater time. Dave made this dredging trip an easy way. He stopped by on the second day after the dredge was in the water with his wetsuit in hand and then dredged for a few hours. Then he packed his stuff up and left before the dredge had to be carried back up the hill. Just before he left he broke the starter rope and then a mad scramble was performed to find a replacement. I now carry a spare. Also, he felt bad for a long time so I took advantage of it for about a year afterward. I still remind him of it everytime he reminds me of a certain gold split we did in California where I ended up getting the best of him.
