All the best toys on the planet. Is it just me or does that geologist look like he's trying like crazy not to laugh and suppressing a grin near impossible??John

John he is just a happy camper knowing that he can get his dredge there using their equipment and his "Stinking Badge" to get some gold in the name of the law!

I once met an old-time dredger ('40s-'50s) who said you would not believe how rich the bedrock was before the dams were built and gold was $35/oz. Still lots of gold there. I love the bedrock photos.

I remember the 50s panning and sluicing and gold was great just about everywhere we went to mine and summer house at Bagby amazing gold. Trade it in at the store/po/hotel/grocery store/hardware etc-John

Now a days you show someone real gold dust or nuggets and they don't believe you! They always have that "stare" when you show it to them OR just telling them what your doing down in that ole creek bed!
