Russ???

Anybody heard from Russ since his surgery? Am starting to get worried.

Silence is golden! I had my surgery on the 12th and all went well until I got home and started using the knee exercise machine. The second day I used it , it hurt my leg/knee so I backed down the degree it bends my knee and it helped until the second time I used it that day. I again turned it back 5 degrees BUT it still hurt when I got to the top of the bend BUT it only hurt for a second until the machine reversed it's cycle. I thought NO PROBLEM ! I figured the swelling was getting to me despite the icing of the knee while not using the machine. I got up this morning and my inner thigh on that leg was bruised a lot. then I re-read the new pill bottle ( Eliquise ) ,a blood thinner to reduce any blood clotting) directions and it said that the bruising is common. Not much going on here other than my exercises and all that goes with it. Depending on my drugs depends on how I feel and get around !!!! I hate being dependent on someone else and having them do stuff that I should do! Well Christmas is coming and I hope to be moving around a lot easier. Glad you are doing good....
I just wonder what is happening.... My sister-in-law had one on the 29th, a friend of my wife had one on the 15th and a friend of mine had one on the 18th !
These doctors must have boat payments to make or something?

HA ! As it happens , we just got older and that's when the "stuff" hits the fan!

I had planned on dying young and leaving a healthier-looking corpse. Too late for that now!

Still do all the things I did 25 years ago, but it takes me a mite longer now. But I never could handle tundra, even when I was a young pup.

You must have had a rough crew Russ(grin)...... The two gals have no bruises... Don't know about my friend. Haven't seen him.
