Karuk Tribe Sues to Stop Timber Sale

California - Courthouse News reports that a tribe and several environmental groups are suing to stop the Orleans Community Fuels Reduction and Forest Health Project on the Six Rivers National Forest. In its lawsuit the tribe contends that under NEPA the EIS failed to disclose adequately the impacts of the project on spiritual, cultural and historical values embodied by the Panamniik World Renewal Ceremonial District and Cultural Areas, the bald eagle and other resources, and from increased fire danger. It also challenge the project under the National Historic Preservation Act that the Forest did not consult on the Project with the State Historic Preservation Office, but instead relied upon a Programmatic Agreement, which did not cover spiritual resources.

I say let em burn then, fuel reduction in that area is a must, but hey, if it all burns down, more gold in the river, and all the jerks who helped shut down dredging wont have a place to live, enviros wont be able to hide their pot fields, it will burn up all the friggin garbage those people deposite every where they live, course they will all be on wellfare, oh, wait, silly me, they are already on wellfare, foodstamps and any other special programs those people leach on, they all hate America but sure do love all the programs and free money, I USED to dredge in that area and was always disgusted by the obviouse meth houses and general abuse of property, I wouldnt even stop to take a p2ss in that crappy town, Happy Camp isnt much better, I bought new claims in the Sierras anyway,so screw em, they deserve it, maybe they all should all take a field trip to Afghanistan, see how things get done over there, or maybe Haiti, I here they need enviros ther badly, friggin jerks dont know how good they have it, these people are like spoiled children, they are to well fed and taken care of, I say cut em off if they hate us, give em Orleans and put up a BIG FENCE to keep em in cause we already got a problem with illeagles sorry I am still livid about this dredging crap, I dont care about my permit money, big friggin deal, I want to work my dredge!!!!!!!!!!!!, I guess its my fault bein that I only know how to make money by workin, and usualy for myself, doc says its not healthy for others in the 9-5 if I,m there workin with em , If I am outaline with this, I dont know what to say, Its how I feel, and I held back a whole bunch.
