I'm thinking of coming up there for at least 3-4 days. give my new 3 inch a test run. Been about 10 years since we've been there.

newbie question, but do you have to fill out a notice of intent for each time you go, or could you fill one out for the general season? Also my partner and i have a 4'' dredge we just put together, does Wyoming consider a 4'' necked down to a 3'' acceptable, or does it have to be a true 3''?

Sorry if this is a stupid questions but i have never done this before.

thanks,
Scott

Fill it out oncefor the season. They go by opening size of the nozzle. I have a 4" dredge and I just put a 3" ring on my swivel nozzle.

If you are going on my claim add Beans & Bacon to the letter.

Since Colorado has some good fires going, does Wyoming have, or look like it will have a fire ban in effect during the outing?

Sorry can't PM you, but what is required to gain access to your claim. I am a member of the GPAA and was planning on making a few trips to their claims. I own a claim in northern Colorado, but would like to find some larger than 100 mesh gold, and have heard good things about Douglas creek. I have gone there sluicing, but would like to take a dredge and give it a go.

I am always looking for other areas, but definitely don't want to step foot in the wrong places.

Thanks for the info, and please feel free to e-mail or pm me to discuss further.
