What I have never understood, is why the "Mining Companies" don't have the sense to recruit "Prospectors" who often have a better comprehension and understanding of mineral values, determining types of soils, rocks, grasses, etc by experience. instinct and hands of sampling then majority of professionals who do it by the book, or mechanically with questionable results. I guess degrees and resumes are how it was done since values were located lodes and placers were claimed.
