Your Health & V.A. Doctors U want to Live ?

I just want you all to be in good health, I've been thru hell the last 4-5 years with missed dianosis after another. I'm just concerned for my fellow vets. I've had 4 life threating events the VA doctors missed and I"m lucky to be here today.

1st. It all started 4-5 years ago, I went in to complain about chest pains, there response was I had heart burn and they have been treating for heart burn for all these years. Last may I got a new doctor and right away she sent me up to hot springs S.D. for a stress test. The doc there said I'd be back for some steins.......... a week went by and heard nothing. Took off to Meet up with Reed in Colorado and we were off prospecting for a few days. Got home and there was all kinds of messages from the VA, they wanted me in Minn. asap, guess they called my local doc and said if I had any kind of cardiac event it would be my last. Had quadrouple 4 days later.

2nd. I had been going to VA doctors because I went from 205 lbs to a 150lbs in 3 months, no energy. I get dressed to work and just sleep on the couch all day. They sent me home for more rest, no blood test or anything. A week later I was in the torrington wy ICU with a blood sugar of 764, They said I should be dead or in a coma. Another miss dianosis from the VA doctors.

3rd. Last January I had come home from christmas in CA and about the middle of the month noticed some growth on my left hand, went to the VA and they said it was a wart. I have a wart on my bird finger and showed them........ this is a wart, whats on my hand isn't, needless to say for the next month they treated my so called wart. on the 2nd visit I ran down the head nurse and showed her, she about freaked, she set me up asap for dermatolgy and guess what ? it was some kind of aggressive cancer called squall a something, Can't even pernouce lol. this thing was the size of a half dollar and a half inch high, they cut it off and set me up at fort mead S.D. 2 wweks later. what they cut off had grown back in those 2 weeks plus it was now on both my hands. In the end I had 5 surgery's total to remove all cancer.

4th and last Still on going as of 1/6/13

you know you always hear of people getting there flu shots and then getting sick, right......... what a bunch of BS well I'm sorry to all the people I didn't beleive.

Oct 11th 2012 I got my flu shot from the V.A. hospital in Hot Springs south Dakota and 3 hrs later I was on the ground with unbeleivable stomach pain. I waited aweek for it to go away and it didn't, I went back to the local VA Clinic and they took blood and did pretty much nothing. Said they'd be in touch with me in 2 days. A week went by and nothing. I had to drive my self up to Hot Springs and go to the EM room, Guess what............. I had a full blown case of pancretis, was in the hospital for a week. I don't even drink lol. This is a sickness mostly related to Alcohoics. Well I had alot of test done and they said my pancreous had a narrowing in it and did surgery, that was a month ago. I'm still sick and this last week has been the worst, went back to VA and now there ordering up some new CT scans hopefully soooooon !!!!.

I love my life and my life is Gold Prospecting and I didn't write this to bitch about it. I WROTE IT because if you aren't feeling well, Don't take the word of a VA doctor, go to a private Doctor that really cares. I'm sure not all VA docs are this way but I"m telling you to stay away from the Scottsbluff VA Clinic if you want to live. I don't have a private doctor but I"m sure trying to get a private insurance plan that will allow me to hopefully in the near future. ill keep you in my prayers! i hate to hear this kind of info cause i just applied for VA .ive heard stories before, and they werent good! and the ydo this to OUR veterans!

Mt Dew-My buddy Jim was just praising the VA yesterday for saving his life from cancer and a 90% dead heart. IT ISTHE HOSPITAL branch you are using. Some here in kalif suck so bad I wouldn't take a dog to die there but YORBA LINDA VA one of the best in the nation.I have 4 buds who have been saved there. Consumers reports has had some extensive hospital comparisons and NOW the fed dept of health and welfare has also rated. VA good ....your docs suck---quick before sum summabeach kilts your ol'arse. Ifn ya ain't proactive you'ze deadrn' a doornail man------ John

first thing you got to ask your doc, ware did you go to school. its not a joke. its always good to find out ware your doc studied.

i know a lot of guys that have used the va. they try to get a local doc to look at them befor heading off to the va or have the local doc do a second look. one good thing about my are is the distance to the va. some make the trip once a month to pick up meds and make out good doing that only.

certainly a lot of research is needed tobe done to check out these Dr.s at the VA hospitals in your area!

we have a VA clinic and their blood draw / vampire gal couldnt hit the alaska pipeline with a cordless drill
when i questioned her on the fishing trip with the needle ... said shes been doing this for 30 years, i told her shes been doing it wrong for that long ... but what the hell there is no accountability in government ...she got pissed i said you shouldnt be pissed off the holes are in my arm

then it gets better... after being a welder for over 40 some odd years my arms are pocked marked with small burn scars, she accused me of interveinous drug use cuz my veins are collapsed (they are not) i got up to leave and told her its a poor workman that blames her tools

yep Larry ive got a lot of them small burns also. im under the understanding that they can only try 3 times before they need to allow someone else to do it! complaing didt seem to work!

my veins are very good. so good when i was giving blood they would get the new person to take my blood. they only got two sticks to hit my veins. i would not give them any more trys and would walk out. it would piss off the red cross workers. one rememberd me and when i sat down she called the new girl over, then told her to watch. I hate needles very badly. when i am at the dentest i dang neer rip off the arms on the chair. he thinks its funny. i told him up front that is the worst part of the deal is the numbing shots. i have had one dds yank on a bad tooth for over a hour be for he gave up and i had to have it cut out.

Well it took me a while to figure it out for me, but the VA would have less people to care for if they could slowly kill of the patients.
They tried with me but they failed, not sure where they get some of the doctors working at the VA, but my animals get better
care and treatment. They finally agreed that the local hospital could treat a Vet. but that treatment is limited, take the case of
the Vet. that broke his arm, they wouldn't let the local hospital take a x-ray, he had to travel 120 miles to the VA center for the x-ray,
then was told yes your arm is broke, now go back to your local hospital and have them take care of it. That is just one example of
the many problems with the VA. Are elected State official who sits on the VA review board in WA. D.C. thinks the Vet's are getting great
care. We work hard to get the VA to let the local hospitals treat the Vet's as we have over 5000 of them hiding out in the hills that will not
let a VA doctor touch them for one reason or another. Not sure if it is still true, but it wasn't that many years back where I seen a sign
on the ER door that it was closed after like 6 pm, and advise you to seek treatment else where or wait until they reopened in the morning.
All are Federal elected officials should be required to use the VA hospitals for treatment.

and be on obamacare, instead of their premium helth coverage that 98% of Americans couldnt afford even if they wanted to! if these socalled 'representatives' of ours want to cut the spending, they ought to reduce their payhealthcare/pensions BEFORE they even think about hitting the retired! they ALL need to go!
