When I first started comml fishing I was told ... dont know the knot ... tie a lot
Then a rigger told me if ya dont know the right knot tangle it up, this has served me well over the years

i should be real good at knots! when in school the teachers said i was a very knoty boy!:)

One of my favorite books is"Ropes,Knots and Slings for Climbers-Walt Whitlock 1967. Great info I've used since 67 by La Siesta Press. I've roped,slung and knotted my way in 4 states more times than countable and great info...John 8-)
